The Youth League Branch of Ningshing Trading Group held a theme League Day activ

The Lantern Festival is approaching. To promote traditional culture and convey the warmth of the festival, the Youth League Branch of Ningshing Trading Group held a theme League Day activity titled "Warm Lantern Festival, New Year's Voyage" in the activity room on the 16th floor of Tianning Building on February 11th. Sixteen young League members actively participated in this event.

Making tangyuan to welcome the Lantern Festival is a custom to celebrate the festival. At the beginning of the activity, three groups of young members of the Communist Youth League neatly arranged glutinous rice flour and representative ingredients such as old Ningbo lard and black sesame fillings. Everyone was highly enthusiastic, worked together, and divided the tasks. They kneaded the dough, added fillings, and rolled the tangyuan. In a joyous and harmonious atmosphere, they experienced the joy of making tangyuan by themselves.

When kneading the dough, the team members worked in perfect harmony, precisely controlling the amount of water added. While kneading the dough, they did their best to turn the loose glutinous rice flour into a smooth and chewy dough. The process of making tangyuan was full of joy. Everyone's skills gradually became more proficient from being initially unfamiliar. First, they rolled small pieces of glutinous rice flour into balls, pinched out small holes, put in the fillings, and then gently sealed the edges. A round and plump tangyuan was thus formed. During the making process, everyone actively exchanged their kneading techniques and enthusiastically discussed how to make the tangyuan rounder. Laughter and joy filled the air constantly. It wasn't long before the lunch boxes were filled with tangyuan of various shapes. Each tangyuan was filled with everyone's enthusiasm and joy, carrying the blessings of the young members of the Communist Youth League for the traditional festival.

After the tangyuan were made, the young members of the Communist Youth League shared each beautifully packaged tangyuan with the cleaning ladies, security guards, delivery men and other service staff around them in the building. When receiving this thoughtful gift, every service staff member's face was filled with surprise and emotion. Sincere words of thanks warmed people's hearts, and care was continuously passed on in this afternoon.

This theme group day activity was a vivid practice of cultural inheritance and team integration. During the process of making and sharing tangyuan, the members deeply felt the unique charm of the Lantern Festival customs in Ningbo, gained the joy of passing on care, enhanced cultural confidence, and improved team cohesion. In the New Year, the young people of Ningshing Trading Group will continue to forge ahead hand in hand, with full enthusiasm and high morale, embarking on a brand-new journey full of hope.
